News City of Salzgitter uses luxData® Despite cost cutting and empty coffers in German cities, luxData® is still first choice. This is no different in Salzgitter. The current software CL no longer satisfies the operational requirements. luxData® scored points here with its open architecture and wide range of functions. In addition to realistic prices and the fact that all procedures can be displayed 100 % in luxData®, the decision was quite rightly made in favour of luxData®. The functions of luxData® are rounded off by a GIS interface to SICAD-SD. This interface enables the graphic presentation of lighting points and is therefore an excellent information solution. The options arising from the GEO referencing of the lighting data are manifold. The benefits are mirrored in registering malfunctions, mast tests (which can be used at the same time for GPS registration), graphic information solution, malfunction analysis and similar areas.
There is no point in having a complete system that provides
the functions of a GIS and a MIS for lighting data. The individual areas are too
complex. The only sensible solution is an interface designed to combine the functions,
comparable also with clockwork. Each wheel has its own function. |
