The many years of experience among our staff members have shown that the requirements placed in a software system are understandably very individual, even if the clients come from the same industry and certainly have similar needs. This insight is used to develop new software that enables the customer to use it in an extremely flexible and modifiable manner. The option of analysis in reports, diagrams and statistics plays a very important role in this context.

In order to cover the needs of the users in a perfect manner now and in the future, we present the solution that enables the customer to make independent modifications or to draft analyses without elaborate support patches, updates and such like. In the following pages, we will provide you with a brief presentation of the Report Generator by sixData GmbH. This innovative product is a standard feature of luxData® and is therefore provided without option fee.

The luxData® Report Generator lends you almost boundless opportunity to draft, amend and save the analyses you need. This applies not only to the classic print functions, but also to Internet and file export as HTML, RTF, Word, PDF or Text, etc. with which you will achieve convincing results.

You can now draft reports for your analyses and statistics quickly and easily. luxData® Report-Generator is made up of two components, the luxData® Report Designer and the luxData® Report Viewer. You use the luxData® Report Designer to specify your individual report definitions or amendments and also save them.

The first step is to load or create the report definition using the Designer. An existing XML can also be loaded as report definition. Naturally, Access reports can also be loaded.

In luxData®, you can also access your own queries and draft reports and analyses on them. You amend/create the report according to your own wishes. Letterheads, footnotes, sorting, grouping and fields, etc., are all in one hand. The export function means that you can also send these term definitions to colleagues in another power company, department of works or operator by e-nail, and the information can also be sent to the company's own maintenance firm (provided they have luxData® of course). In the event that you require complex queries or definitions of terms, sixData GmbH will send them to you as quickly and simply as possible. All you need to take care of is the import.

These independently developed reports are then read directly by the luxData® Report Viewer. This simplifies the process of drafting reports to a greater degree than you could imagine.

The opened report can now be saved comfortably with the supplied result and can be viewed at any time. This means that analyses can be archived or dispatched as file by e-mail.
