luxData®
Street lighting is and remains a municipal task that serves
the public interests. In view of the fact that citizens and taxpayers alone must
carry the costs of street lighting, municipalities must have the goal of keeping
the value for money ratio for operation and maintenance permanently as low as possible.
Street lighting must be operated according to strict economic aspects, but also
without technical hitches.
The software luxData® covers the organisational and administrative processes
required in practice as follows:
Street lighting data
Presentation of all data that is of any relevance to your street lighting. Regardless
of whether it is a question of lamps, lights, troughs, cantilevers, ropes, masts
or control gears and such like, you can know, for example, which lamps have which
lighting point and which lighting points are fed by which cabinet...
Image archive and document archive
|
|
In order to file images in all standard formats and to assign
documents in all formats. You can assign accident reports, protocols and such like
to any system. You can also include in the archives files with the CAD formats DWG,
DXTM, DWF and SKD.
|
Evaluation graphic, management reports, analysis reports and statistics
The basis of any corporate activity analysis is found in reports. They are used
to present and express drawings, plans, photos for the documentation of technical
systems, complex mast situations and installed lighting. All reports can be saved
and exported as Word, PDF, image files or text files.
Integrated report designer
|
|
In addition to the standard reports, users have the option
of drafting their own reports or of amending existing reports at any time. Reports
can be drafted in a simple text form or with elaborate coloured diagrams. This means
that only a very low level of support or updates are necessary. Amendments can be
carried out independently at any time and do not require users to wait for an update.
|
Query and selection tool
A query generator lends you the option of drafting queries for your data without
any IT-specific knowledge of the database structure or the application of a database
language such as SQL. This is possible in every field and every form.
Statistics, sums, numbers...
|
|
You can use the analysis tools in every field in every form.
Which lamp type is used how often? Just a mouse click away with luxData®!
|
Measurement value archive
The measurement value archive for switch points and power circuits. You can use
it to display the regular electrical measurements and similar examinations of the
power lines and switch cabinets required by EN, DIN and VDE, etc.
Electricity agreement
It is possible to draft various electricity agreements and to use them also for
accounting purposes.
Switch programmes
|
|
Define your own switch programmes using the daylight calendar
or your own values in order to form the basis for correct power accounting.
|
Accounting regulations
On the basis of the accounting regulations, you can Auf calculate the accumulated
power consumption, the accrued costs and the required cost centres.
Power accounting
Flexible power accounting, taking into consideration your valid power agreements
and independently defined input parameters.
Maintenance regulations
Based on this, you can plan a large proportion of your maintenance work, which you
can define in several different ways for your systems.
Order-based maintenance
This can be used to register and process projects, tasks, orders, component procedures
and malfunctions with various causes. This helps you plan and complete all work
relating to street lighting.
Form designer
|
|
In luxData®, almost all forms can be switched to the "design
mode" while they are running. This means that you can comfortably align all
control elements and their properties to the individual corporate requirements (e.g.
blending in/fading out of unneeded fields, write protection for certain areas and
alignment of the font colour, etc. pp.). The settings made in the form designer
can be saved for individual areas or for entire user groups in the database. This
means that safety settings on the field level are possible.
|
Forms
|
|
Auto-scaling forms in which the control elements are aligned
automatically in a proportionate relationship to the window size.
|
Project administration
Drafting, implementation and monitoring of projects support street lighting managers
in their daily work. It is possible to assign projects to certain systems and also
to draft resource planning.
History
The constant history archiving means that the state of a system can be traced back
to its construction or data input.
Route planning
Consistent planning of routes means that optimum deployment of the resources can
be achieved.
Users/user groups
|
|
Creation of groups and users and the definition of user rights
are underpinned by the flexible settings of the user filter on a data level. In
addition to the general rights, users can be granted a filter for certain data in
this respect; for example, data access can be restricted to viewing a certain site
or individual fields can be blocked or released.
|
Interfaces to Microsoft Office products
Data volumes, selections and reports, etc., can be saved and processed in the standard
Office products such as Word or Excel at the click of a button.
Flexible location structure
The location structure is designed specifically for each customer. This means that
the programme can be tailor made to suit the customer requirements; this mirrors
the flexibility of the programme. Problems with a rigid hierarchy (e.g. location,
borough, district and site) can therefore no longer occur.
Localisation
The system language can be altered at the press of a button without affecting the
system procedures.
Savings assistant
An assistant helps you fit your systems with the most effective components and to
create the most effective switching programme. You can select a system and configure
it in any way in order to determine the most cost-effective option for your system.
For example, you can fit a lighting point with the lamp X and then calculate the
costs for 3 years. You can then calculate the lighting point with lamps Y or Z as
a comparison. This means that at any time, you can operate your lighting with what
is proven to be the most cost-efficient and economical means.
Malfunction report
An Internet portal at this point enables you to present all relevant data, thus
permitting fault registration for municipalities, cities and citizens, etc. This
access can also be protected by authentication.
GIS interface
GIS interfaces can be offered for all standard GIS systems and also modified to
suit customer wishes.
SAP interface
We offer interfaces for material base and ordering for users of the standard software
SAP R/3.
Data processing / information on site
Interfaces to palm, pocket PC, laptop and such like mean that the technicians can
be given the information they require on site. This information can be amended locally
and input into the main database by dialling into the Internet, remote LAN and such
like or by synchronisation in the office. This also means that technicians can be
coordinated along their routes whenever recent malfunctions must be dealt with quickly.
The luxData® functions are constantly upgraded, thus providing security for
your investment.
